Founded in 2016 by NBI quantum photonics researchers Leonardo Midolo, Soren Stobbe, and Anders Esbensen, the company is an industrial partner in the DKK 40M Innovation Fund Denmark EQUAL project (May 2025-2030) led by DTU Electro alongside HZDR, Humboldt University of Berlin, and Lizard Photonics.
