QVersion is an Aarhus University spinout developing chip-based mid-infrared (2-12 micrometer) laser platforms based on difference-frequency generation. Its laser technology targets molecular sensing and free-space secure communications, with applications spanning gas spectroscopy, environmental monitoring, and quantum-relevant photonics. The company entered the Spin-outs Denmark program in 2025 with founder Emil Zanchetta Ulsig.
