Sparrow Quantum develops deterministic single-photon source photonic chips for quantum networking and quantum computing, spun out of Professor Peter Lodahl's group at the Niels Bohr Institute. The Sparrow Core product, launched November 2025, delivers single-photon emission with industry-leading efficiency and thermal stability for room-temperature operation. The company raised a EUR 27.5M follow-on round in December 2025 — described in trade press as Scandinavia's largest quantum-technology investment — on top of a EUR 21.5M Series A in April 2025.
